Hire a Princess is 7!

It is the 7th Birthday of Hire a Princess, thank you from Royal Messenger Laura and all of the Princesses for such an exciting year!
This year has been really fun to receive different types of party requests including a Ruby Wedding Anniversary Party for the Turley family and an 18th birthday party for a young lady called Georgia. Georgia's favourite Princess story is Beauty and the Beast and I was contacted by her mother who requested a surprise visit from Princess Beauty to attend Georgia's 18th Birthday Party and to sing. I was warned that it was very likely that Georgia may cry! Well Georgia looked a million dollars at her birthday party and was such a beautiful girl inside and out shown by the loving friends and family that came to celebrate with her. There were so many beautiful personal touches with a photo collage, a Beauty and the Beast themed display table and a stunning birthday cake. Thank you to Georgia and her family for inviting Princess Beauty to sing and to join you all for such a special occasion and hope you had an unforgettable 18th birthday!
Summer 2018 was absolutely phenominal with the hot weather which meant lots and lots of garden parties! Princess Rapunzel was a popular request for summer events including the Pattishall Picnic in the Park Music Festival, Force India Family BBQ and a special surprise visit to Cha Char Chimps Family Day for sweet little Lottie's 3rd birthday at Silverstone who had the most amazing Rapunzel themed candy cake!
Cinderella enjoyed several outings to London at House of Fraser's Tea Terrace Restaurant for tea parties in the royal carriage. These one-on-one moments shared with children and their parents in the carriage have been so magical and one such little girl was Jessica who told Cinderella she won an award for standing on stage singing 'How Far I'll Go' from the movie Moana, so Cinderella asked Jessica if they could sing it together. Here is a gorgeous clip that was kindly shared by Jessica's family, isn't Jessica's singing fantastic and she's only 4!
This year is a milestone for me as I will be turning 30 in November. My parents threw me an early birthday party and surprised me with my very own Princess cake! Thank you Mum and Dad!
One of the biggest highlights this year was Hire a Princess being voted as a Finalist in the Top 5 of the Best Children's Business in Northamptonshire hosted by Muddy Stilettos.
It was a huge honour and a wonderful surprise to reach the Top 5 and it was thanks to all of you who voted, I can't tell you how much it touched me and I was absolutely thrilled so many of you took the time to vote. It blew me away, especially as this was my last year with Hire a Princess. My husband and I are moving to Africa but I certainly hope to continue spreading Princess magic so please keep in touch on the Facebook page. I've had 7 fantastic years getting to know so many wonderful families and for me there has been nothing better than being a part of making the best happy memories for your children, it has been a real privilege.
