Afternoon Tea with a hint of Royalty
Whether you have a child who is a big Princess fan or you're a grown up Princess at heart the Tea Terrace is a delightful step into fairytale play with excellent service and fantastic food at hand. There are three branches of The Tea Terrace, two are in Central London in House of Fraser Oxford Street and Victoria Street and there is also one in Guildford which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner or if you just want a refreshing spot of tea (of which there is a large selection to choose from!) with a hint of royalty.
The tearoom interiors are very attractive, the blue and pink colour combination is like fairy-princess candy tastefully combined with traditional luxury and charm. The beautiful china is all Royal Albert adding to the quintiessentially English style and is also available to purchase. The main attraction of course, is Cinderella's Carriage which you need to reserve in advance and there is also the option to invite Princess Cinderella herself to join your party in the carriage.
Hire a Princess has had the pleasure of Cinderella joining visitors at the Tea Terrace for birthday celebrations in the carriage. It is such a sweet idea for the birthday child to feel like a real Princess in their very own carriage and Cinderella is often asked to appear with the birthday cake as a special surprise! Your booking means you have the use of the carriage for an hour and 15 minutes which is time to order food or Afternoon Tea. The best package to select if you would like to hire a Princess as well is the 30 minute Meet and Greet for Cinderella to join you as dine.
''There is no trouble so great or so grave that cannot be much diminished by a nice cup of tea.'' Bernard-Paul Heroux, Basque Philosopher
Cinderella will meet, chat and interact with everyone in the carriage paying extra special attention to the birthday child. Cinderella will sing a mini concert and there's the opportunity to play a couple of Princess themed games which are suitable whilst you are having something to eat. A Meet and Greet gives your child a lovely one-on-one experience with a real Princess and makes a very happy and memorable occasion which you are very welcome to capture on camera.
